It's Lance's favorite time of year: baseball season and SXSW Film Festival. We kick off this episode with a quick recap of the films Lance saw at SXSW this year, then dive into the baseball horror-thriller Night Game starring Roy Scheider. Erica wishes this was directed by Brian De Palma while Lance admits that this is a movie made just for him. And hopefully a few of you.

Confessions of a Serial Killer (1985)

For our last regular episode of the year, Lance is taking us down a true crime path with a different adaptation of the life of Henry Lee Lucas in 1985's Confessions of a Serial Killer. If you've seen Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, this will be familiar territory for you, but a standout performance from Robert A. Burns definitely makes this worth a watch.

Mirage (1990)

A truly independent and unsung horror movie, this has only seen a video release in the UK, which is a shame because it has great characters and gore along with its unique setting.
